Dr. med. Timo A. Spanholtz is the founder, owner, and medical director of the renowned Praxisklinik am Rosengarten. As a highly qualified specialist in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, he looks back on an impressive, international career that led him to top centers worldwide. His medical stations include the renowned University College London in Great Britain – the motherland of plastic surgery –, the King Edward Hospital in Durban, South Africa, and the University Hospital Bern in Switzerland. Before establishing his practice in the Rhineland, he demonstrated his surgical excellence as a Senior Consultant and Deputy Chief Physician at the Clinic of the Ludwig-Maximilians University (LMU) Munich.

In addition to his practical work in the operating room, Dr. Spanholtz is active as a recognized scientific author. He has written significant textbook chapters and is the author of successful medical guides for colleagues and patients. His profound professional expertise is also regularly valued by German courts, for which he works as a publicly appointed and sworn expert witness (including for the Social Court Düsseldorf and the State Social Court North Rhine-Westphalia). Dr. Spanholtz speaks fluent German and English and serves an international clientele at the locations Cologne, Bergisch Gladbach, and Hamburg.

As a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery, I have extensive training in all treatment methods in this field. In the course of my medical career, I have worked in various countries and gained international experience, including in Great Britain, the motherland of plastic and aesthetic surgery. Other professional positions have taken me to university hospitals in South Africa and Switzerland.

Before I set up my practice in Bergisch Gladbach and Cologne, I worked as senior consultant and deputy chief physician at the Ludwig Maximilian University Hospital in Munich. I live in Cologne, I am married and we have a son.
