Certain ageing processes occur as a result of the many influences to which the human skin, especially the face, is exposed in everyday life. These include pronounced wrinkles and the loss or change in the collagen structure of the face. The surface of the skin also changes: pigments form and minor and major skin changes become visible.
Age spots are one of the most common skin conditions, especially on the forehead, arms and hands. Other parts of the body can also be affected, but are less of a problem for our patients as they are usually clothed and therefore not visible in everyday life.
