Laser lipolysis

Laserlipolyse

Laser lipolysis, Slimlipo-Cellulaze - many names for one idea: fat can be dissolved with the help of a laser and the resulting heat. The fat cells burst, disintegrate and are eliminated from the body. The heat generated under the skin simultaneously tightens it and moulds it to the body.

Dissolving fat with the laser - laser lypolysis

There are special procedures to remove large fat deposits and also to remodel the overlying skin. For larger areas, procedures such as water jet-assisted liposuction, radiofrequency liposuction (Body tite), high-definition liposuction (ArgoPlasma) or vibration-assisted liposuction (Vibrasat) are available today.

Laser lipolysis is a complementary procedure in which laser beams are introduced into the fatty tissue via a miniature probe and plasticised there. The laser ‘blasts’ the fat cells and then transports them away from the body, and the wavelength of the light generates energy that shortens the collagen fibres on site and thus tightens the skin.

For further information, please see the bottom of the page. This is where the advantages and disadvantages of the procedures are presented and the risks and side effects are explained. However, this cannot replace a personal consultation (also via video), in which these aspects are explained and adapted individually. We therefore look forward to a personal consultation with you!

Who is it for?

Laser lipolysis is suitable for all patients who have sagging skin in certain areas of the body. Other procedures are preferable for large areas. On the other hand, laser lipolysis is well suited for localised sagging skin with a smaller fat pad underneath.

Details

Laser lipolysis can be performed under local anaesthetic and only requires a small opening to insert the laser probe into the depot. This is then carefully advanced and withdrawn again while emitting laser light. This process is repeated several times until the entire fat depot has been treated. A tape bandage is then applied and you can go home.

After the treatment

The recovery phase after laser lipolysis is short. You can return to your normal everyday activities after just a few days. The level of pain is manageable, only bruising may occur in the treated areas.

Results & Risks

The results only become apparent after a few weeks, as the tissue initially swells and the destroyed fat has to be broken down by the body itself. This can take 3 to 6 months. Patience is therefore required until the results are fully visible. We also rely on the body's ability to regenerate, so the result also depends on how well your body can cope with the connective tissue tightening.
