Liposuction: Abdomen

Fettabsaugung am Bauch

Fatty tissue tends to accumulate particularly on the abdomen and flanks. These unwelcome fat deposits can be treated and removed very effectively with today's modern liposuction techniques. In this section of our website, we explain everything you need to know about liposuction on the abdomen.

Liposuction on the abdomen

At a young age, little fat is deposited on the torso. Young people do more sport and burn calories better. With increasing age, due to weight fluctuations or pregnancy, fatty tissue accumulates on the abdomen and flanks. This fat, also affectionately known as a lifebuoy, is a nuisance when wearing tight clothing or when naked on the beach, for example.

Liposuction of the abdomen and flanks is a common and very effective procedure today. There are various techniques for liposuction of the abdomen, such as water-jet assisted liposuction, radiofrequency liposuction, vibration liposuction or laser lipolysis. Each procedure has its advantages and disadvantages, and a consultation is required to clarify how the initial situation is to be assessed and which abdominal liposuction technique can be used most effectively for the patient in question.

It is therefore important that a plastic surgery clinic has a selection of different techniques at its disposal in order to be able to choose the optimal technique for the patient. We have such equipment at our disposal.

For further information, please see the bottom of the page. This is where the advantages and disadvantages of the procedures are presented and the risks and side effects are explained. However, this cannot replace a personal consultation (also via video), in which these aspects are explained and adapted individually. We therefore look forward to a personal consultation with you!
