Breast lift with implants

The simultaneous lifting and augmentation of a breast is probably the most complicated operation on the female breast. On the one hand, the aim is to achieve a firmer shape and a better position of the nipple; on the other hand, the sagging tissue is to be removed and replaced with an implant. If a woman wishes to have firmer AND larger breasts, a mastopexy, or breast lift, can restore the lost firmness and beauty of the breasts. The sagging breast tissue is lifted by reshaping the glandular body and the skin mantle is tightened by removing excess skin. Nipples that are relatively too low can be moved to a higher position and reduced in size if necessary. Asymmetries between the left and right breast can be equalised.
However, the size of the breast can also be changed at the same time as the lift if desired. The breast is reduced in size by removing parts of the glandular body, and breast augmentation is achieved by inserting autologous fat and/or a breast implant. The tightening of the breast by inserting autologous fat and implants is called multi-sculpturing of the breast.
This operation is rarely offered by inexperienced specialists, as both the planning and the execution are very complex. During planning, it must be taken into account that the aim of the operation is to completely change the shape and rejuvenate the breast while simultaneously increasing and losing volume.
That sounds confusing at first. To clarify: the sagging tissue consists mainly of mammary gland tissue. This is removed and the nipple is moved upwards. At the same time, however, the breast should not become too small and an implant (usually under the muscle) is inserted. This can maintain or even increase the volume and change the shape of the breast to a firmer form.
