Many women suffer from a sagging vaginal vault after giving birth, a weight fluctuation or simply by nature. It is not always a medical problem, but can ‘only’ put psychological strain on the women affected and have a negative impact on their sex life. In certain cases, the sagging of the vaginal tissue can also lead to incontinence (e.g. stress incontinence) - i.e. an unwanted loss of urine droplets in everyday life.
For many years, treatments have been available that are summarised under the term ‘vagina rejuvenation’, which means vaginal rejuvenation. Vaginal rejuvenation is usually understood to mean treatment tailored to the respective problem or a combination of different treatments, such as labia reduction (labiaplasty) and vaginal tightening (also vaginal tightening). A vaginal tightening is usually combined with an autologous fat transfer to achieve the maximum effect of narrowing the vaginal canal.
Of course, we will have to decide together which of these options promises the perfect result for you.
We may even be able to perform a vaginal tightening for you without surgery. The inner vaginal wall is tightened using radiofrequency steels. To achieve this, a series of 5-8 appointments of 30 minutes each is necessary.
For further information, please see the bottom of the page. This is where the advantages and disadvantages of the procedures are presented and the risks and side effects are explained. However, this cannot replace a personal consultation (also via video), in which these aspects are explained and adapted individually. We therefore look forward to a personal consultation with you!
