Radiofrequency smoothing of the skin

Glattere Haut mit Radiofrequenz

Treatments with autologous fat or hyaluronic acid are available for many deeper wrinkles on the face. Fine superficial wrinkles, on the other hand, are difficult to treat. Radiofrequency can be a good addition here.

Smoother skin with radio frequency

Fine skin wrinkles are mainly found around the mouth and eyes. These wrinkles develop in the uppermost layer of the skin, the epidermis. Deeper wrinkles, on the other hand, often lack volume in the deeper layers of the skin, which is why volumisation is a very effective treatment. Fine wrinkles on the surface can be treated best if the epidermis is also smoothed from the outside. The Fractora procedure, for example, is suitable for this.

Fractora / BodyTight technology combines two different aesthetic medical treatments: medical needling and radiofrequency treatment of the skin. The Fractora handpiece, which looks like a thin ultrasound head, contains fine, thin needles that penetrate the dermis and cause the formation of new collagen fibres in the subcutaneous tissue. However, these needles are also charged with radio frequencies. The moment the skin is punctured, a defined amount of radio frequency is released into the subcutaneous area and tightens the collagen fibres located there.

This means that two things happen simultaneously during the Fractora treatment: firstly, the needling procedure leads to the formation of new collagen fibres and secondly, the radiofrequency tightens the existing collagen fibres.

As the perfect complement to deeper volume enhancement, e.g. with autologous fat or hyaluronic acid, Fractora treatment can therefore help to smooth the skin surface.

For further information, please see the bottom of the page. This is where the advantages and disadvantages of the procedures are presented and the risks and side effects are explained. However, this cannot replace a personal consultation (also via video), in which these aspects are explained and adapted individually. We therefore look forward to a personal consultation with you!

Who is it for?

Fractora treatments are a "soldier" in the fight against wrinkles on the face and body. These individual treatments should be seen as building blocks in a complex system of available options. Rarely does the application of just one technology in one session lead to the desired result. One thing is certain: If you suffer from a disturbed surface appearance of the skin, if fine lines around the mouth or eyes, small wrinkles on the upper lip or porous skin (after acne) on the cheeks bother you, Fractora is an excellent form of treatment for smoothing the skin.
Fractora can also be used as a prophylactic skin treatment: With less energy and finer needles, we can give the skin the so-called Hollywood Glow, the fine silky lustre of the skin's surface.

Details

If you undergo a Fractora at the Klinik am Rosengarten practice, this is usually preceded by a facial analysis. We record the current situation, take a series of different photos and discuss the options for natural facial rejuvenation with you. The treatment can be a component of the treatment concept. On the day of the treatment, the skin is cleansed and any residues of skin care products are removed. After the skin surface has been disinfected, the actual treatment begins. The handpiece is used step by step: The approximately 2 × 2 cm stamp is placed on each area of the face and the device is triggered. The small needles that penetrate the skin are barely noticeable. However, the triggered radiofrequency causes a brief feeling of tension on the skin.

Several treatments are necessary to achieve permanent smoothing of the skin and to stabilise the effect. The minimum is three treatments at four-week intervals. In individual cases, more than 3 treatments of the entire face (or individual parts of the face) may be advisable.

After treatment

After the treatment, the face is treated with a special surface treatment and you can leave the clinic after a few minutes. The skin is slightly reddened all over the face. This redness lasts for about 5 to 10 hours. As a rule, you will be fit for socialising the next day. However, it is often necessary to apply some make-up to make the effects of the treatment invisible to others. After the treatment, the skin needs approx. 3-4 weeks to regenerate, so we plan a second treatment for you after one month. You will receive instructions on special care of the skin surface from us at the clinic as part of the treatment.

Results & risks

The results are already visible during the treatment. The skin reacts, starts to work, forms collagen and becomes increasingly smoother. However, a longer period of time is required for a final assessment of the success of the treatment, as the formation of new collagen fibres does not take place overnight. From our experience with the Factora method, we know that improvements in the skin can develop over a period of up to three months after the last treatment.
