Radiofrequency smoothing of the skin

Treatments with autologous fat or hyaluronic acid are available for many deeper wrinkles on the face. Fine superficial wrinkles, on the other hand, are difficult to treat. Radiofrequency can be a good addition here.
Smoother skin with radio frequency
Fine skin wrinkles are mainly found around the mouth and eyes. These wrinkles develop in the uppermost layer of the skin, the epidermis. Deeper wrinkles, on the other hand, often lack volume in the deeper layers of the skin, which is why volumisation is a very effective treatment. Fine wrinkles on the surface can be treated best if the epidermis is also smoothed from the outside. The Fractora procedure, for example, is suitable for this.
Fractora / BodyTight technology combines two different aesthetic medical treatments: medical needling and radiofrequency treatment of the skin. The Fractora handpiece, which looks like a thin ultrasound head, contains fine, thin needles that penetrate the dermis and cause the formation of new collagen fibres in the subcutaneous tissue. However, these needles are also charged with radio frequencies. The moment the skin is punctured, a defined amount of radio frequency is released into the subcutaneous area and tightens the collagen fibres located there.
This means that two things happen simultaneously during the Fractora treatment: firstly, the needling procedure leads to the formation of new collagen fibres and secondly, the radiofrequency tightens the existing collagen fibres.
As the perfect complement to deeper volume enhancement, e.g. with autologous fat or hyaluronic acid, Fractora treatment can therefore help to smooth the skin surface.
For further information, please see the bottom of the page. This is where the advantages and disadvantages of the procedures are presented and the risks and side effects are explained. However, this cannot replace a personal consultation (also via video), in which these aspects are explained and adapted individually. We therefore look forward to a personal consultation with you!
Who is it for?
Fractora can also be used as a prophylactic skin treatment: With less energy and finer needles, we can give the skin the so-called Hollywood Glow, the fine silky lustre of the skin's surface.
Details
Several treatments are necessary to achieve permanent smoothing of the skin and to stabilise the effect. The minimum is three treatments at four-week intervals. In individual cases, more than 3 treatments of the entire face (or individual parts of the face) may be advisable.
