Upper arm lift

The upper arms are a weak point in the ageing process. Due to the thinning of the skin and the loss of elasticity of the connective tissue, many women, but also men, tend to develop excess skin on the upper arms, which is also referred to as ‘Winkler’. There are both invasive and less invasive techniques to correct this condition.

Angular arms are a condition that is particularly troublesome for women in the second half of life. Whether sleeveless tops or T-shirts, the excess skin is always visible and the part of the skin that hangs down moves back and forth, especially when the arm is raised. This is where the term angular arm comes from.
It can be a combination of excess fatty tissue and excess skin, but in some cases only excess skin is responsible for the sagging of the upper arm. In this case, almost all non-surgical measures fail and an upper arm lift is the only alternative with a good result. Of course, this results in a scar, but it is located on the inside of the arm and is barely visible during normal movements.
