On the one hand, sexual practices can lead to special attention being paid to the anus. On the other hand, many patients simply want to lighten the skin in the entire intimate area, as it is sometimes somewhat pigmented.

With anal bleaching, we can lighten the skin overall. The treatment is relatively painless and does not require a complex anaesthetic. However, it must be repeated several times depending on the pigmentation of the skin. Anal bleaching is an established treatment for lightening the intimate area. Who is it for?

Skin whitening in the intimate area, also known as anal bleaching, is suitable for all patients who are interested in such a treatment to improve their intimate aesthetics.

Details

After cleaning the intimate area, a preparatory solution is applied and the actual bleaching is carried out after a short exposure time. This works chemically: the medical product is applied in a thin layer and left to work for a defined period of time. The experience of the treating doctor is important here in order to achieve a good treatment result and avoid damaging the skin. After the exposure time, the bleaching is complete and the patient can go home.

After treatment

After anal or vaginal bleaching, patients are given a special solution that must be applied daily to enhance the effect. Bathing, especially in chlorinated water, is not permitted for a few days as the skin is easily irritated. Visits to the solarium should also be avoided. Otherwise, there are no complicated consequences of the treatment.

Results & risks

The results depend heavily on the degree of pigmentation. In any case, a lightening of the skin by a few shades can be expected. The treatment may need to be repeated several times to achieve the desired result. Over the months, the skin can become pigmented again and the treatment can be repeated.
