Event at the Cologne Golf and Country Club with Regina Halmich

‘Ex-boxer meets plastic surgeon’ is the headline of the Kölner Stadtanzeiger, referring to an exciting event on 1 June 2018 at the Golf- und Landclub Köln.

Unbeaten boxing world champion Regina Halmich visited plastic surgeon Dr Timo Spanholtz, whose reputation as an aesthetic physician extends far beyond Cologne and Bergisch Gladbach. Spanholtz has been running the privately run practice clinic at the Rosengarten since 2013 and offers his patients beauty and anti-ageing treatments. Surgeries such as breast augmentation, liposuction and facelifts are just as much a part of the clinic's spectrum as smaller treatments such as wrinkle treatments and non-surgical skin rejuvenation.

Almost 50 select guests attended the event, including the newly nominated national handball player Moritz Preuss, whose father is a well-known boxing commentator who has also commentated on Regina Halmich's fights. TV celebrity doctor Prof. Dr Thomas Kurscheidt, a close friend of the host, was also present, as was entrepreneur and former REWE board member Hans Schmitz (REWE), biotech founder Dr Hossein Askari (CoGap) and fertility doctor Dr Eva-Maria Boogen (Kinderwunschzentrum Bonner Bogen).

A conversation between Regina Halmich and Timo Spanholtz was followed by an extensive meet & greet with the celebrity professional sportswoman and presenter. Many selfies and autograph cards characterised the event and everyone was able to experience their moment alongside the boxing legend and the host.

Regina Halmich and Dr Spanholtz have known each other privatly for a long time. The two peers hit it off straight away, which was also noticeable on stage. Personal topics were not avoided and Regina Halmich gave an exciting insight into her career and her life today.

Many guests stayed on to enjoy the luxurious atmosphere of the Vierling Restaurant at the Golf- und Landclub Köln. An all-round successful afternoon with exciting guests, interesting conversations and socialising!
